Acaena caesiiglauca is an herbaceous perennial that forms a showy mat of lacy, grey-blue foliage. This impressive NZ native grows to just 15 cm tall but will spread to 50 cm in diameter. Acaena caesiiglauca is commonly used in rock gardens, planted between paving stones, or included in borders. A mass planting will give a spectacular display.

This perennial prefers well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade. It tolerates poor soils and is ideal for adding texture to rock gardens or groundcover.
