Sisyrinchium striatum variegatum features both great flowers and foliage. It bears showy, yellow flowers that last up to four weeks through spring and summer. These are complemented with strap-like foliage that is variegated cream and green. It grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost, dry periods, and coastal environments. It does not cope with heavy soils or prolonged wetness.
