Schoenus pauciflorus, commonly known as Bog Rush, is a NZ native sedge. It features dark brown, fine, grass like foliage, and grows as a clump to about 1 m tall and the same wide. This tussock performs best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site that does not dry out. Schoenus pauciflorus is commonly used in riparian plantings, revegetation and erosion control projects, or mass planted on a bank or the like.

Schoenus pauciflorus, commonly known as Bog Rush, is a NZ native sedge. It features dark brown, fine, grass like foliage, and grows as a clump to about 1 m tall and the same wide. This tussock performs best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site that does not dry out. It is a tough plant that will tolerate coastal conditions, wind, frost, cool climates, and swamp conditions.
