Ophiopogon umbraticola is a hardy, grass-like perennial that grows well in New Zealand. It prefers partial to full shade and thrives in well-drained, humus-rich soil. This plant is ideal for shady borders, woodland gardens, or as an underplanting option. Water regularly during establishment, then only during extended periods of dryness.
