How to grow Ophiopogon 'Stripey White' in NZ

Ophiopogon 'Stripey White' thrives in New Zealand gardens when planted in well-drained soil with access to full sun or partial shade. This hardy, clump-forming ground cover tolerates dry conditions once established and performs well in borders, as an underplanting, or in containers. Water regularly during the first growing season to help roots develop, and mulch to retain moisture. Trim back any tired foliage in late winter to encourage fresh, new growth in spring. It’s a low-maintenance and striking choice for contrast planting.
