Miscanthus sinensis Gracillimus is an ornamental grass that grows as a clump of narrow and arching, green leaves. The colouring gives a light silver-green effect to the foliage. Tall spikes of Toe-Toe like flowers are borne in summer which are cream with a pink tone. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on pretty much any soil type condition barring extreme wet or dry. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, wind, coastal conditions, and extended periods of dry. Miscanthus sinensis Gracillimus is commonly included in mixed or border plantings, planted around outdoor living areas or water features, used as a backdrop for other plants, or maintained in a container.
