Juncus Blue Dart care

Juncus Blue Dart is a compact ornamental rush known for its striking blue-green, upright foliage and is ideal for borders, containers, or wetland areas. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers consistently moist to wet soil, making it a great choice for rain gardens, pond edges, or low-lying damp spots. While drought-tolerant once established, it performs best with regular watering to keep the soil evenly moist. This variety requires minimal maintenance; simply remove any brown or damaged foliage in late winter or early spring to keep the plant looking fresh. It is hardy, tolerant of poor soils, and can grow in both garden beds and containers. Division every few years will help rejuvenate the plant and manage its size. Juncus Blue Dart also provides good year-round structure and colour, adding a modern, architectural touch to the landscape.
