Festuca Elijah Blue, commonly known as Blue Fescue, is a hardy and highly ornamental, blue grass. It features fine and slender, blue foliage and grows as a rounded tuft to about 30 cm tall and the same wide. Feathery, light green flowers rise above the foliage from spring through summer and age to brown. Festuca Elijah Blue is commonly used in borders and rock gardens where its blue colouring adds a lovely touch. A mass planting will give a stunning display and it looks great in a pot. This is a very popular landscape addition.

Festuca Elijah Blue, commonly known as Blue Fescue, is a hardy and highly ornamental, blue grass. It features fine and slender, blue foliage and grows as a rounded tuft to about 30 cm tall and the same wide. Feathery, light green flowers rise above the foliage from spring through summer and age to brown. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate dry periods, frost, cool climates, and wind and generally needs little in the way of maintenance.
