Cyperus haspan, commonly known as Flatsedge, is a perennial grass that thrives in aquatic environments. It grows with a graceful habit and has long, bright green leaves. It carries unusual looking heads of umbrella-like flowers through summer. It grows to about 50 cm tall and 40 cm wide. Cyperus haspan is commonly planted beside pools or streams, in shallow water, added to tropical gardens, grown in a container, planted beneath larger shrubs, or mass planted for a lovely display.

Cyperus haspan, commonly known as Flatsedge, is a perennial grass that thrives in aquatic environments. It grows with a graceful habit and has long, bright green leaves. It carries unusual looking heads of umbrella-like flowers through summer. It grows to about 50 cm tall and 40 cm wide and performs best in wetter areas and reasonably well-drained sites that do not dry out in either full sun or partial shade. Cyperus haspan is commonly planted beside pools or streams, in shallow water, added to tropical gardens, grown in a container, planted beneath larger shrubs, or mass planted for a lovely display.
