Aciphylla squarrosa

Aciphylla squarrosa is a grass that forms a dense cluster of spiky leaves. The narrow blue-green leaves grow to about 1 m long and have serrated leaf edges. In summer, plants produce yellow flowers as it grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. Aciphylla squarrosa is commonly planted in clusters with the soft looking foliage and colour providing a great contrast to darker coloured plants.
