Pink Iona Grape

The Pink Iona grape is an eating grape that produces fruit that ripen in summer. It features large crops of medium sized, sweet, pink berries. This deciduous vine carries large, mid-green leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It requires a trellis or fence for support and if left untrimmed, it will grow to about 5 m tall. It grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site and it is tolerant of frost and cold environments. The Pink Iona grape is commonly used for fruit production, grown to attract birds, or trained on a support structure as an attractive feature.
