Apricot Sundrop Details

Apricot Sundrop produces high yields of orange coloured fruit with a red blush through summer. The fruit are medium sized, firm, sweet, and juicy. This deciduous tree typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide. It is only partially self-fertile so will benefit from another variety (e.g., Trevatt) planted alongside to help produce fruit. Best performance with this variety is achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates and benefits greatly from watering during summer. Apricot Sundrop is commonly grown for fruit production or added to a mixed planting with the added benefit of flavoursome fruit.
