Apricot Sundrop produces high yields of orange coloured fruit with a red blush through summer. The fruit are medium sized, firm, sweet, and juicy. This deciduous tree typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide. It is only partially self-fertile so will benefit from another variety (e.g., Trevatt) planted alongside to help produce fruit. Apricot Sundrop is commonly grown for fruit production or added to a mixed planting with the added benefit of flavoursome fruit.
