Black Prince Plum Tree

The Black Prince plum produces crops of medium-sized, black-purple skinned fruit in summer. The flesh is red-black and great for eating or using in cooking. White blossoms adorn the tree in spring and give rise to the fruit in summer. This deciduous tree grows with an upright habit to about 5 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. The Black Prince plum is commonly planted for fruit production and makes for a lovely specimen.
