Peach Rose Chiffon

“Rose Chiffon” is a variety of peach grown for its small stature and flavoursome fruit. This dwarf fruit tree produces tasty, white fleshed fruit during summer which originate from colourful, pink blossoms in spring. The lush foliage on this deciduous tree emerges light green in spring, ages to become dark green, then develops yellow tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 75 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site that is sheltered and does not dry out. It is tolerant of cool climates and frost, though late frosts in spring will reduce yields. “Rose Chiffon” is commonly added to a mixed planting, grown as a small specimen, or maintained in a container on a patio or the like.
