Apricot Goldrich produces light orange fruit in summer that are medium-sized, firm and finely textured. It is only partially self-pollinating so will perform better if another variety (e.g., Sundrop) is planted nearby to help set fruit. This deciduous tree typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide, performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. The Goldrich apricot tree is commonly planted for fruit production either as a specimen or by including it into a mixed planting.
