Fig San Pedro

Fig San Pedro produces fruit with a brown skin and amber-red flesh. The fruit in autumn are of medium size, sweet, and produced mid-season. It grows as a large, spreading tree to about 5 m tall and 4 m wide, and will bear fruit after 3-5 years. Fig San Pedro is commonly grown for fruit production or as a specimen. It looks great in a mixed planting and will attract birds into the garden.

Fig San Pedro Details

Fig San Pedro produces fruit with a brown skin and amber-red flesh. The fruit in autumn are of medium size, sweet, and produced mid-season. It grows as a large, spreading tree and will bear fruit after 3-5 years. It does not require another Fig to be planted alongside to set fruit. This deciduous plant carries large, deeply lobed green leaves and has a very tidy growth habit and typically reaches 5 m tall and 4 m wide. Best results with this variety are achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Fig San Pedro is commonly grown for fruit production or as a specimen. It looks great in a mixed planting and will attract birds into the garden.
