Fig Brown Turkey produces good yields of dark purple-brown fruit in autumn. The fruit are medium-sized and flavoursome. It grows as a large, spreading tree and will bear fruit after 3-5 years. This deciduous tree carries large and deeply lobed, green leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling as it reaches 4 m tall and 3 m wide. The Brown Turkey Fig tree is commonly grown for fruit production or as a specimen. It looks great in a mixed planting and is a good choice for attracting birds into the garden.
