Feijoa Apollo Details

Feijoa Apollo produces tasty, medium sized fruit in late autumn. The tasty fruit result from small, bright red flowers in summer which produced amidst the lush, dark green leaves. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide but can be trimmed to smaller sizes. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-fertile site. It is tolerant of coastal environments, dry periods, some wind, and moderate frost once established. Feijoa Apollo is commonly grown for fruit production, trimmed into a hedge, used for screening, or added to a mixed planting.
