The Cleopatra Avocado tree is grown for its tasty, medium sized fruit from late winter through spring. The glossy, black skinned fruit have flesh that is creamy with a rich flavour. The large leaves are green and leathery. It typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It is recommended that another variety, e.g., Hass or Reed is planted nearby to aid pollination and produce better yields. Best performance with this variety is achieved when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun and protected from frost. Avocado Cleopatra is commonly used for fruit production or as an impressive specimen in a large garden.
