Apricot Moorpark is an early maturing variety of Apricot that produces golden yellow fruit in summer. The fruit are medium sized, soft, very flavoursome, and juicy. It is self-pollinating so does not require another apple variety close by to set fruit. This deciduous tree typically grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide. Best performance with this variety is achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates. The Moorpark Apricot tree is commonly grown for fruit production or added to a mixed planting.
