Apricot Gold Bar Details

The Gold Bar Apricot produces orange-yellow fruit with a red blush through summer. The medium-sized fruit are firm, sweet, juicy, and have a hint of acid. It is self-pollinating so does not require another variety planted close by to set fruit. This deciduous tree grows with an open, vase shape to about 4 m tall and 3 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates and should not be allowed to dry out. Apricot Gold Bar is commonly planted for fruit production either as a specimen or by including it into a mixed planting.y
