The Sir Prize apple tree bears large sized fruit in autumn. The fruit are yellow-green with a pink hue and have flesh that is crisp, juicy and very tasty. It is a lovely apple for eating fresh. This deciduous tree typically grows to 3.5 m tall and 2.5 m wide. It is self-pollinating and so does not require another apple variety planted close by to set fruit. The Sir Prize apple is commonly planted for fruit production, added to a mixed planting, or maintained in a courtyard garden.
