This deciduous tree typically grows to 3 m tall and 2.5 m wide. It is self-pollinating and so does not require another apple variety planted close by to set fruit. The Hetlina apple variety bears medium sized fruit in summer that are red with a green-orange blush and have flesh that is crisp, crunchy, and sweet.
