Apple 'Flower of Kent' is a historic heritage apple variety best known for its connection with Sir Isaac Newton. It produces large green to yellow apples with firm, mildly flavoured flesh that are excellent for cooking, baking, and making traditional desserts. In spring the tree is covered with attractive blossom that draws pollinators, followed by dependable autumn crops. Easy to grow in New Zealand conditions, it is a rewarding addition to home orchards.
