The flesh has a tangy flavour which makes them ideal for cooking but Boskoop apples are also great for eating fresh. This deciduous tree will grow to about 4 m tall and spread 4 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Belle de Boskoop Apple trees are commonly planted for fruit production, added to a mixed planting, or maintained in a courtyard garden.

The Boskoop Apple Tree produces much prized, large sized fruit in autumn. Apple Belle de Boskoop fruit are yellow, blushed with red, and russeted. The flesh has a tangy flavour which makes them ideal for cooking but Boskoop apples are also great for eating fresh. This deciduous tree will grow to about 4 m tall and spread 4 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. It is self-pollinating and so does not require another apple variety planted close by to set fruit. Best results are achieved with this tree when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. Belle de Boskoop Apple trees are commonly planted for fruit production, added to a mixed planting, or maintained in a courtyard garden.
