The Baujade apple tree bears good sized fruit that ripen in autumn. The fruit are akin to Granny Smith being fresh green in colour with flesh that is sweet, juicy, and pleasantly aromatic. They are great for eating fresh from the tree. This deciduous tree will grow to about 4 m tall and the same wide but can be trimmed as necessary. It is self-pollinating and so does not require another apple variety planted close by to set fruit. Best results are achieved with this tree when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. The Baujade apple tree is commonly planted for fruit production, added to a mixed planting, or maintained in a courtyard garden.
