“Navelina” is an attractive and high yielding variety of orange. This Spanish variety produces fruit during winter which are of exceptional quality and juicy. The fruit are produced amidst the dark green foliage. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, protected from heavy frost. It will generally tolerate moderate frost once established. This popular variety is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown as an informal hedge, or maintained either in a container or in a courtyard garden.
