“Clementine” is a variety of Mandarin that produces a mixture of small, medium and large sized fruit that are sweet and juicy. The fruit ripen from late winter through early spring, are seedless and easy to peel, and will hold on the tree for several weeks. This selection is fast growing and bushy, growing to about 2 m tall and 2 m wide. Best performance with this variety is achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, protected from frost. Citrus will generally tolerate moderate frosts once established. This Mandarin is commonly included in mixed plantings, grown in a container, added to a courtyard garden, or grown as a specimen.
