Feijoa ‘White Goose’ is an early maturing variety of Feijoa that produces high yields of large fruit. The fruit has a semi-smooth, light green skin and flesh that is sweet, juicy, and flavoursome. The fruit result from bright red flowers in summer which are set amidst the dark green leaves. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, fertile site, and is tolerant of coastal environments, short periods of dry, some wind, and moderate frost once established. Feijoa ‘White Goose’ is commonly grown for fruit production, trimmed into a hedge, used for screening, included in cottage gardens, or added into a mixed planting.
