How To Grow Feijoa 'Bambina' In NZ

For best results, plant in full sun in free-draining soil. Feijoa ''Bambina'' is cold-hardy and well-suited to almost all regions of NZ. Being self-fertile, it doesn’t require another variety for fruiting, though yields are improved with cross-pollination. Mulch in spring to reduce weed pressure, and prune lightly after fruiting to maintain shape.

Its dwarf size, tidy habit, and sweet, early-season fruit make Feijoa 'Bambina' an excellent choice for urban gardens, lifestyle blocks, or growing in large containers.
