“Garden Annie” is a smaller variety of Apricot that is both ornamental and fruit bearing. The medium sized fruit in summer are golden yellow with a slight red blush and are both sweet and juicy. This deciduous tree typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide. It is self-pollinating so does not require another variety planted close by to produce fruit. Best performance with this variety is achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates. This Apricot variety is commonly grown for fruit production or added to a mixed planting and is well suited to the home garden.
