Brunia Ruby Red is a shrub with unusual flowers. The flowers in summer are red and appear as tight, bead-like heads. It grows as a tall, slender, single-stemmed shrub to about 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, with branches that host dark green, soft, needle like foliage. Brunia Ruby Red is commonly included in a mixed planting, maintained in a container, or planted so the unusual flowers can be appreciated. The stems and flowers are favoured by florists.
