Poor Knights Lily
Xeronema callistemon, commonly known as Poor Knights Lilies, is a stunning NZ native plant renowned for its impressive red flowers borne on tall stems in spring. Flowering may take several years but can be sped up if plants become root bound. It produces mid-green, flax-like leaves and grows to 1 m tall and wide. It is commonly used in mixed plantings, containers, borders, or lining entrances.
