Dianella revoluta Blue Stream is an herbaceous perennial grown for its lush and colourful foliage. It features broad and erect, powder-blue coloured leaves that are very showy. This NZ Flax Lily typically grows to 75 cm tall and 60 cm wide and has roots that enable it to survive a wide range of environmental conditions. It grows best, however, when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is hardy to moderate frost, coastal environments, dry periods, and cool climates. Dianella revoluta Blue Stream is commonly mass planted in borders or as a groundcover, included in a mixed planting, or planted around outdoor living areas. This is an easy plant to grow that is very rewarding and affords a spectacular display, particularly when it is mass planted.
