It typically grows with an upright habit to 2 m tall and 1 m wide, preferring a full sun position with plenty of moisture and good drainage. It will tolerate moderate frost, coastal environments, and short periods of dry. Cordyline Salsa is a great plant for adding texture and colour to plantings.
