Brauns Holly Fern
Commonly known as the Brauns Holly Fern, this is a Fern native to North America. It bears large and lush fronds that emerge light green and darken with age. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide, preferring a partial shade position and a well-drained, sheltered site that does not dry out. It is tolerant of mild frost, cool climates, heavy shade, and fairly poor soil conditions. Brauns Holly Fern is commonly used in woodland plantings, planted around outdoor living areas, or included in a mixed planting.
