Australian Tree Fern, Sphaeropteris cooperi, Lacy Tree Fern
Cyathea cooperi, commonly known as the Australian Tree Fern, produces a tall and slender, brown trunk and can grow up to 15 m tall with a spread of 8 m. The dark green fronds are soft and delicate, and held horizontally as they radiate from the top of the trunk. Cyathea cooperi is used for revegetation projects, used in woodland gardens, planted alongside streams, or included in a mixed planting to provide height and texture.
