Taxus baccata Dovastonii Aurea is a conifer grown for its attractive foliage and form. During active growth periods the plant will have a two-tone display as a result. Small, green flowers open spring and result in small, red berries. It typically grows to about 2.5 m tall with a spread of 2 m. It requires a well-drained site and is best planted in full sun. It is tolerant of frosts, some wind, dry periods, and cool climates.
