Cupressus Stapehill is a fast-growing conifer featuring feathery, light green leaves which are held densely on somewhat pendulous branches. It grows with a conical and somewhat narrow shape to about 25 m tall and 5 m wide, and can easily be contained with trimming. Cupressus Stapehill is used extensively on farms and larger properties as a windbreak, large screen, shelter for livestock, or for forestry. In larger gardens it is often used for hedging and screening and makes an excellent backdrop for smaller shrubs.

Cupressus leylandii Stapehill

Cupressus leylandii Stapehill is a fast-growing conifer featuring feathery, light green leaves which are held densely on somewhat pendulous branches. It grows with a conical and somewhat narrow shape to about 25 m tall and 5 m wide, and can easily be contained with trimming. This tree prefers a full sun position, a well-drained site, and will grow well on most soils, except extreme wet. It is tolerant of frost, extended dry periods, cool climates, wind, and coastal conditions. Cupressus leylandii Stapehill is used extensively on farms and larger properties as a windbreak, large screen, shelter for livestock, or for forestry. In larger gardens it is often used for hedging and screening and makes an excellent backdrop for smaller shrubs. For hedging space plants 75 cm apart.
