The leaves are held densely on this evergreen as it slowly grows to eventually reach 20 m tall and 6 m wide. Cupressus glabra is commonly grown as a specimen, included in a mixed planting, planted for shelter or screen planting, or trimmed into a hedge.

Arizona Cypress

Cupressus macrocarpa Golden Pillar is an evergreen and compact conifer featuring golden yellow foliage. The branches grow upwards to provide a very tight and column shaped plant. It will grow to about 7 m tall and 1 m wide if left untrimmed. It grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate frost, cool climates, wind, and extended periods of dry. Cupressus Golden Pillar is commonly grown as a specimen, used for decorative effect in a mixed planting, as a shelter or screen planting, or grown in a large container.
