Cupressus gigantea, commonly known as Tibetan Cypress, is grown for its impressive stature and colourful foliage. Blue-grey foliage is held densely on this evergreen tree. It grows slowly with a narrow and conical shape to 8 m tall and 4 m wide after 10 years. Over many decades it can reach 45 m tall and 15 m wide. Cupressus gigantea is commonly grown as a specimen in parks and large gardens.
