Cupressus cashmeriana, commonly known as the Kashmir Cypress, is grown for its weeping and colourful foliage. Blue-green foliage hangs from near horizontal branches on this evergreen tree. It grows with a narrow and conical shape to about 15 m tall and 6 m wide, performing best when positioned in full sun. Cupressus cashmeriana is commonly grown as a specimen in parks and large gardens but is also well suited to being used for screening and shelter on lifestyle blocks.
