“Blue Mountain” is a smaller conifer grown for its attractive colouring and tidy growth habit. It features dense, blue-grey foliage which becomes more intensely coloured during winter. It grows with a conical shape to about 3 m tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is tolerant of frost, coastal environments, and cool climates. This low maintenance conifer is commonly grown as a specimen, maintained in a container, added to a mixed planting, used as a screen or backdrop for smaller plants, or planted to border an entranceway.
