Abies pinsapo, commonly known as the Spanish Fir Tree, is an evergreen tree with a conical growth habit and blue-green foliage. The leaves are 1.5 – 2 cm long, rigid, and sharp. The cones emerge raspberry red and mature to a colouring that is green-pink-purple. Mature trees are typically 20 m tall and 8 m wide. This Spanish Fir tree is commonly grown as a specimen in a large garden.
