Abies koreana Alpine Star is a dwarf variety grown for its foliage and short stature. This evergreen conifer produces short branches with equally short, thick, dark green, needle-like foliage. The branches are held off a single, central trunk though growth can be somewhat irregular. It grows slowly to about 60 cm tall and the same wide. Abies koreana Alpine Star is an interesting conifer that is well suited to adding to a mixed planting, growing in a container, or including in a rock garden.
