Pandorea 'Charisma'

How to grow Pandorea 'Charisma' in NZ

Plant in fertile, free-draining soil in full sun to partial shade. Provide sturdy support such as a trellis, fence, or pergola for climbing. Water regularly during the first year, then only during extended dry periods. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and reduce weeds. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage healthy regrowth.

Feed in spring and midsummer with a balanced fertiliser to promote lush foliage and prolific flowering. Remove dead or damaged stems to maintain a tidy appearance. Light trimming throughout the growing season will help control growth and keep the plant dense. Monitor for aphids or caterpillars on young shoots and treat promptly if needed.
