Mandevilla 'White Fantasy'

Growing Mandevilla 'White Fantasy' Successfully in NZ

Mandevilla 'White Fantasy' thrives in warm, sheltered spots with full sun to partial shade. It prefers free-draining soil and benefits from regular watering during dry periods. Ideal for growing in pots, hanging baskets, or trained up a trellis, this climber adds a tropical touch with its striking white trumpet flowers. In cooler regions, it may need winter protection or can be grown in containers and moved to a frost-free area.

Mandevilla 'White Fantasy' Care Tips

Plant Mandevilla 'White Fantasy' in a warm, sunny spot with well-draining soil. Water regularly during the growing season, but avoid overwatering. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertiliser to promote flowering. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth. In cooler areas, protect potted plants from frost by moving them indoors or covering outdoor specimens. Provide a support structure, such as a trellis, for climbing plants, and watch for pests like aphids or spider mites.
