Lapageria Rosea (Chilian Bell Flower) Details
“Rosea” is a climber grown for its fantastic flowers. It features masses of showy, red blooms through summer and autumn. They adorn the plant and bring it into a class of its own. The climber has wiry, twining stems that host glossy, dark green leaves. It typically grows to 3 m and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It does not like drying out and will tolerate moderate frost only once established. “Rosea” is commonly used as a stunning climber on a trellis or other support structure.
