Clematis Belle of Woking is a popular, deciduous climber grown for its flowers and vigorous growth. It produces large and showy, double, mauve coloured flowers from late spring through until early autumn. The foliage is mid-green and complements the flowers nicely. This climber will easily reach 3 m but can be trimmed as necessary which often involves cutting right back during winter. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and can be grown in coastal environments.
